MagyarXiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus launching for as little as €449 in Europe
Last week, Xiaomi finally confirmed its first international Redmi Note 13 series launch event. As expected, the likes of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will first stop in India following their introduction at the end of September in China. For now, Xiaomi is only teasing the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus in India, which appears to match the specifications of its Chinese counterpart.
Hence, the handset will feature a curved AMOLED display that outputs at 1,220 x 2,712 pixels, as well as a 200 MP primary camera and a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset. Additionally, renders leaked by @passionategeekz confirm that the global Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will be available in Aurora Purple (Fusion Purple in India), Moonlight White and Midnight Black colour options, all with 120 W wired charging. Meanwhile, the same leaker has discovered the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus on Amazon Spain, evidence of which we have embedded below.
Seemingly, the listing has been live since December 7, although we imagine that Amazon will soon take it down. Incidentally, the same listing is available on Amazon's Dutch, French and Italian websites with slightly different pricing. Specifically, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus retails for €499 on Amazon France and Amazon Netherlands. By contrast, the handset costs €449 on Amazon Italy and Amazon Spain.
Either way, the listings confirm that the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will start with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, not 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, as an earlier leak suggested. For context, Xiaomi does not offer the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus with 8 GB of RAM in China. Unfortunately, it is unclear why the handset costs more in France and the Netherlands than in Italy and Spain. For the time being, the Amazon listing states that the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will begin shipping later this week. However, previous Redmi Note release schedules point towards an early spring 2024 European launch following a January 2024 arrival for the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus in India.
