A few days ago, Honor confirmed the start of a partnership with Porsche Design, a product design studio and Porsche subsidiary. For reference, Porsche Design previously partnered with Huawei, a collaboration that ended after the Mate 50 RS Porsche Design. Most recently, Porsche Design started selling the AOC AGON PRO PD49, a gaming monitor that costs significantly more than its peers.
Now, the likes of MySmartPrice have noticed renders of two new Honor flagships circulating on Weibo, including a Porsche Design model. Embedded below, the photos are rumoured to be of the Magic6 Pro and Magic6 Pro Porsche Design, likely a pair of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered handsets with shared specifications.
To that effect, both handsets sport three rear-facing cameras. While camera specifications remain the stuff of rumours for now, neither appear to feature periscope telephoto sensors. Either way, the Porsche Design model has a more elaborate design, including a larger camera housing and a two-tone finish. Currently, Honor is expected to introduce Magic6 series flagships in early 2024. In the meantime, Honor has certified the Magic6 Pro with 100 W wired charging, details of which we have covered separately.
