Honor x Porsche Design smartphone teased ahead of Magic6 series launch

Honor has indicated that its upcoming Magic6 series of flagship Android smartphones will have a top-end special edition. Furthermore, the OEM has collaborated with Porsche Design to deliver this premium device. The partners assert that it will become an instant classic on its impending launch.

Anyone wondering how the latest Huawei Mate 60 RS limited edition flagship handset launched without its habitual Porsche Design tie-in can now consider that mystery solved: the studio has jumped ship to Honor going forward, as it turns out.

Accordingly, the 2 companies will work together to announce new versions of the Android smartphone OEM's flagships, starting with those of the Magic6 series. The devices are said to contend effectively with other devices with 1-inch cameras; now, they will also have a new motorsport-themed super-premium version.

The Magic6 Porsche Edition may also supplant the rumored Magic6 Ultimate, and also debut with advanced satellite connectivity as well as a "collision" of Honor’s "innovative technology" and classic Porsche design.

All in all, the OEM is confident that the partnership will result in the creation of new "legends" and "classics" in the near future - although it has yet to reveal when they will start to be revealed.
