Nubia Z60 Ultra: Global launch date confirmed for IP68 smartphone with triple OIS rear cameras
Nubia has just announced that it will make the Z60 Ultra available globally right from its impending launch event. The brand has also confirmed that it will deliver an "Industry-Leading Full Screen Experience" via a 6.8-inch UDC AMOLED panel driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, thereby strongly hinting that it will be the same as that of the also-imminent RedMagic 9 Pro.
The Z60 Ultra is backed to be a very different smartphone from the back, though, with a "35mm Precision" 50MP main rear camera. Nubia has not confirmed its reportedly updated rear panel design on its international site, although its Weibo account certainly has, in the course of also confirming that it will come with its own new Starry Night version. Meanwhile, Unreliable LAB is back and claiming to have discovered that each of the device's rear cameras has OIS.
That special edition is unlikely to make it to the international market - however, the Z60 Ultra's new IP68 rating will, not to mention its new special offers. Nubia currently invites its global fans to sign up to the launch event's email list in order to get a $30 (or regional equivalent) coupon for the Z60 Ultra following its December 19, 2023 debut.
