Nubia Z60 Ultra in Silver to drop as limited edition soon
The Z60 Ultra brings the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in a 16GB RAM/512GB internal storage package to the US for under $800. It, along with the RedMagic 9 Pro, also come from the only OEM that integrates 5th-gen under-display camera (UDC) tech, for a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra-sized display (albeit admittedly without the QHD+ resolution, ultra-high brightness and Gorilla Glass Armor), that is punch-hole-free.
The Z60 Ultra was well-hyped (and leaked) as a smartphone with a new design in a colorway almost ostensibly intended to make it look more like a camera alongside an all-matte black alternative. Both have a prominent red camera hump ring accent; however, it was only available in the latter color at launch.
Now, though, Nubia has announced that the Z60 Ultra is ready to echo the RedMagic 9 Pro again: its Silver edition "is making its big entrance in just 1 week", making for a well-timed February 14, 2024 release date.
Interested consumers are advised to make sure to mark their calendars for it, as it is also to be a 'limited drop' event with potentially reduced stock on the day.
In the meantime, those who would prefer the Black version (as a consolation prize perhaps, since the Starry Night version remains a Chinese-market exclusive) could go ahead and order it anyway - and at a $30 discount with the code LOVE30 that is valid until February 18 on intl.nubia.com.
Alternatively, the RedMagic 9 Pro is available in Silver on Amazon.
