Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro Genshin Impact Special Edition launches with gift box

Xiaomi's new Smart Band 8 Pro is the latest flagship for a series historically consisting of classic fitness trackers, although it has very nearly morphed into a smartwatch in this iteration. It also has a new Edition on the market - unfortunately, it is Special rather than Global.

The new Xiaomi x Genshin Impact version of the Smart Band 8 Pro has a strap in a novel gray color finished with a contrasting mask graphic that serves as the first clue as to the character on which it is based. Tartaglia is also reflected in exclusive UI elements such as watchfaces out of the box.

On that note, the new Limited Edition costs 549 yuan (~$77), whereas the standard Smart Band 8 Pro started at 355 yuan (~$50). Then again, the former has a new and much larger box, as it has to contain extras such as stickers and a physical character card, not to mention the figurine of Tartaglia with the Narwhal that also doubles as the custom 8 Pro's charging stand.
