AYANEO Pocket S shown running Genshin Impact at 60 FPS and highest graphics settings with 'more exciting details' on the way
AYANEO continues to tease the Pocket S, its second Android gaming handheld after the Pocket Air. Incidentally, it appears that the Pocket DMG also runs Android, details of which we have covered separately. As for the Pocket S, AYANEO boasts that it is an 'Android Flagship Handheld, in part thanks to its Snapdragon G3x Gen2.
Supposedly, the Pocket S can run Genshin Impact at 60 FPS with the game's highest graphics settings enabled. This is also true of the less powerful AYN Odin2, though. To that end, AYANEO claims that the Pocket S has an 'x86-level' cooling system', although the exact details of this remain unknown at this stage.
Thus, we would recommend waiting for independent reviews before passing judgment on how well the device handles triple-A Android games for prolonged periods. Unfortunately, AYANEO has not outlined pricing or availability yet. However, the company has teased that 'more exciting details about the AYANEO Pocket S are about to be unveiled'. Presumably, AYANEO will deliver more information soon, although it seems unlikely that the Pocket S will be available before the end of the year, as it previously promised.
