Motorola Razr Plus: New Pantone Color of the Year 2024 edition becomes available

Motorola touts its Razr Plus (or Razr+) as the clamshell foldable smartphone with an "unrivalled" cover display in 2023. Now, it might also be capable of retaining relevance in 2024, as it will be the only device of its category finished in Pantone's freshly-announced Color of the Year (COY) for those 12 months.

Pantone has nominated a shade called Peach Fuzz for this honor, a color that allows the Razr+ to exhibit a dark gold-ish hue for the first time. The brand partners also back the new COY as "warm and transformative", and tout this new 4th color option as a way for a user to express themselves as they look forward to the new year.

Motorola has listed the new version of the Razr+ at the same seasonally reduced price of $699.99 as the 8GB RAM/256GB foldable in its original colors (Viva Magenta included), although the Peach Fuzz version is not projected to ship in the US until December 12, 2023.
