Various Garmin smartwatches are now eligible for another stable update, the second this month after v15.74. In its place arrives v15.76, which is also open to Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro, Epix 2, Enduro 2, MARQ Gen 2, Quatix 7 and Tactix 7 smartwatches enrolled on Garmin's Public Beta program.

Garmin has issued a new update to the Fenix 7 series, which is also available across Epix 2, Enduro 2, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 smartwatches. It is worth noting that the company has not started rolling out v16.xx builds. Instead, the latest update is a continuation of 15.xx builds that it started at the end of October. Based on past performance, Garmin could still publish a new set of beta updates before the end of the year.

Either way, v15.76 should address two outstanding issues that were present in v15.74, the Fenix 7 series' previous stable update. Specifically, v15.76 is said to resolve a bug that prevented some ski and snowboard runs from being tracked as expected. Garmin claims to have fixed a problem that caused its software to stop reporting how far a smartwatch had descended on a ski or snowboard run.

According to an official forum post, Garmin decided against offering this update initially through its Public Beta program. Nonetheless, any smartwatches enrolled on Garmin's Public Beta program can request the update immediately by heading to the following on your smartwatch:

Menu - System - Software Update - Check for Updates
