Numerous Garmin smartwatches are now eligible for firmware version 15.74, a stable update that contains almost 50 changes for the Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Pro series. Also available for Epix 2, Enduro 2, MARQ Gen 2, Quatix 7 and Tactix 7 smartwatches, v15.74 culminates 15.xx beta builds.

Garmin has started updating the Fenix 7 series to firmware version 15.74 following another month-long public beta program. To recap, the company last updated its flagship smartwatches to firmware version 14.68, which concluded Garmin's 14.xx beta period. Now, it would appear that v15.74 is the culmination of the company's 15.xx beta builds, although it remains to be seen when any 16.xx successors will arrive.

Currently, Garmin states that v15.74 has reached 20% of eligible models, which also includes the Fenix 7 Pro series, plus Epix 2, Enduro 2, MARQ Gen 2, Quatix 7 and Tactix 7 smartwatches. However, it is normally possible to trigger the download of a new update manually by heading to Menu, then System, Software Update and selecting 'Check for Updates'.

For reference, it appears that v15.74 introduces the same 49 changes to all smartwatches, of which 25 are bug fixes. Additionally, Garmin lists 10 improvements, such as the removal of the limitation on the number of points allowed in a course.
