Polar Vantage V3 gains bug fixes and improvements with latest update
Polar has published a new update for the Vantage V3, its latest smartwatch. To recap, Polar released the Vantage V3 in mid-October following a series of detailed leaks. Shortly after the device's launch Polar rolled out v1.1.9, a small update that only contained 'minor updates and bug fixes'.
Now, Polar has brought the Vantage V3 up to v1.2.5, bypassing all intermediary builds in the process. For reference, it is possible to update a Vantage V3 through the Flow app on a paired smartphone or using FlowSync on a compatible computer. Please see Polar's support document for FlowSync compatibility.
As for v1.2.5 itself, Polar states that it addresses two primary issues, as well as other 'minor updates and bug fixes' like v1.19 before it. Specifically, the company claims that its latest software update fixes an undefined problem that occasionally crashed and reset some Vantage V3 units. Moreover, the Vantage V3 should display ECG graphs correctly during ECG tests once updated to v1.2.5. Please see our Vantage V3 launch article for hardware details and how the smartwatch differs from its predecessor.
