Motorola Moto G34 5G: New leak confirms the return of Moto G3 model after 2023 absence
MySmartPrice has leaked renders of the Moto G34, a future smartphone for which there is no direct predecessor. For some reason, while Motorola releases multiple entry-level and mid-range options annually, it decided against refreshing the Moto G32. Instead, the company brought forth the Moto G23, Moto G53 and Moto G73 this year, as well as the Moto G53 a year ago today.
Additionally, Motorola has since moved onto Moto Gx4 handsets, with the Moto G14, Moto G54 and Moto G84 all released in late summer. Based on MySmartPrice's findings, Motorola intends to fill the gap between the Moto G14 and Moto G54, albeit with a handset that looks slightly different from its counterparts. For some reason, Motorola has designed to use the Moto G34 to showcase an updated design language rather than using the range-topping Moto G84 to do so.
Specifically, the Moto G34 adopts a squircle-shaped camera housing, within which sit two rear-facing cameras. Also, Motorola has pushed the camera housing right into the back panel's top left corner, giving the effect of it blending it into the device's frame like recent OnePlus models and Galaxy S smartphones before the Galaxy S23 series. Although specifications and a release date remain unknown at this stage, the leaked promotional images confirm the presence of a 5G chipset. Similarly, Motorola will include a 50 MP primary camera and relatively thick bezels surrounding the device's flat display.
