The Honor 100 series has just been officially unveiled. Both devices have a particularly eye-catching design with rounded display, while the back has either an eye-catching texture, pattern or a two-tone finish, depending on the variant. While both devices have a 120 Hz AMOLED display, the panel of the Pro model is slightly larger at 6.78 inches and reaches a peak brightness of 2600 nits.
The Honor 100 has the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while Honor has probably used remaining stocks of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the top model, as the device is one of the cheapest smartphones with Qualcomm's flagship SoC from last year. Both smartphones have a 50 MP selfie camera that can record 4K videos. The Honor 100 Pro offers a second camera on the front, but Honor does not provide any details about this.
Both models offer a 50 MP f/1.95 main camera based on the Sony IMX906 and a 12 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, while the Honor 100 Pro also has a 32 MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with OIS. The 5000 mAh battery can be charged via USB-C with up to 100 watts; wireless charging with 66 watts is reserved for the top model. The smartphones still ship with MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13.
