Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro arriving next week with new design and camera upgrades
Xiaomi has revealed more Redmi K70 Pro details a day after confirming the device's existence and release date. This time, the company has presented its design, as well as a few camera details. Seemingly, Xiaomi hopes to differentiate the Redmi K70 Pro from its peers with powerful cameras, which will centre on a 50 MP primary sensor supported by optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Moreover, the handset will feature a telephoto camera offering 2x optical zoom, plus an unknown third rear-facing sensor. Typically, the latter would be an ultra-wide-angle sensor, although there is a chance that this could be an auxiliary camera like a 2 MP macro or depth sensor. At any rate, Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi K70 Pro will measure 74.9 mm across, making it 0.5 mm narrower than its predecessor while retaining its 6.67-inch display size.
So far, Xiaomi has hinted that the Redmi K70 Pro will be available in black and white, each with eye-catching finishes. Additionally, the company boasts that the Redmi K70 Pro has a metal mid-frame, which it has polished to a high gloss finish to create a premium look and feel. To that end, it has included a slight curvature as well for increased comfort. The Redmi K70 Pro will be released on November 29 alongside the Redmi Book 16 2024, Redmi Watch 4 and Redmi Buds 5 Pro, initial details of each Xiaomi outlined today too.
