Evidence has surfaced of Xiaomi preparing to release a second POCO M6 Pro model after August's introduction of the POCO M6 Pro 5G. Seemingly, the company hopes to expand the series with the POCO M6 Pro 4G, which will be available globally.

Various sources have discovered an early reference to a new POCO smartphone. For reference, Xiaomi is also expected to release several other POCO-branded smartphones in the next few months under the POCO F6 and POCO X6 series. Additionally, it appears that Xiaomi has created a second POCO M6 Pro model, three months after releasing the POCO M6 Pro 5G.

As the screenshot below shows, a recent National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification has identified 2312FPCA6G as the POCO M6 Pro. Given that there is already a 5G variant, it seems likely that 2312FPCA6G relates to a cheaper alternative that will share the same overarching design as the current POCO M6 Pro. Typically, Xiaomi distinguishes similar devices with 4G and 5G chipsets, such as the Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi Note 12 5G (curr. US$238.47 on Amazon).

As a result, the likes of 91mobiles assert that 2312FPCA6G will eventually launch as the POCO M6 Pro 4G, or simply the POCO M6 Pro. Currently, the POCO M6 Pro is thought of as a re-branded Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, itself an unreleased smartphone. Presumably debuting in China first, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G could receive a global release too, although it is unclear when at this stage.
