Kacper Skrzypek has discovered a new link between the Redmi Note 13 series and its forthcoming global counterparts. For now, Xiaomi has not discussed plans to release the Redmi Note 13 series outside China yet. With that being said, there is already ample evidence to suggest that the company is laying the foundations to offer the series under different names globally.
For example, Skrzypek has now found references to 23122PCD1G in MIUI code, which is linked to the codename 'garnetp' and marketing name 'POCO X6 5G'. In Skrzypek's view, the POCO X6 5G is a global version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, on account of their 'garnetp' and 'garnet' codenames. Although that could be true, the '2312DRA50G' surfaced on Geekbench with the same specifications as the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which also carries the model number '2312DRA50C'.
Recently, Xiaomi certified '23122PCD1I' with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) too, a necessary step before it releases the handset in India. Thus, it appears that Xiaomi is preparing the POCO X6 5G for Indian and global audiences. Skrzypek adds that either the POCO X6 5G or global Redmi Note 13 Pro will feature an Omnvision OV64B40 camera sensor as well, presumably in place of the 200 MP primary sensor in the latter's Chinese variant.
