Samsung confirms One UI 6 and Android 14 release schedule for over 30 devices including Galaxy A, Galaxy Z and Galaxy S smartphones

Samsung has revealed that over 30 devices will soon receive their first One UI 6 stable updates. Based on Android 14, One UI 6 will reach Galaxy A, Galaxy Z and Galaxy S smartphones, plus one Galaxy Tab tablet.

Samsung has now outlined its initial One UI 6 release schedule for over 30 devices, including various entry-level options. To recap, the company started rolling out stable Android 14-based updates at the end of October but only to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra (curr. US$989.99 on Amazon). Subsequently, it hinted that 25 devices would be eligible for One UI 6, including the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series.

However, Samsung has since removed references to these older flagships from its press release. Thus, it appears that these older flagships were included by mistake. Additionally, there is no mention of them in its One UI 6 release schedule. It is worth stressing that this list is not exhaustive, though.

For example, the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S9 series are missing, as are a few eligible Galaxy A series models. Presumably, these will start receiving their equivalent updates towards the end of December or into 2024, with Samsung's current list only running until early December. As always, One UI 6 updates will reach devices in batches, which Samsung typically segments by country. In other words, it could take a few weeks before your device receives a notification to start downloading its Android 14-based update. The full list of eligible devices is as follows:
