Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Leaker shares details about design improvements and new gold colour option
Leaker @UniverseIce has shed new light on the colours in which Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy S24 series. To recap, Ross Young claimed a few weeks ago that all Galaxy S24 models would be available in seven colours, albeit with some sold as Samsung Online exclusives. For reference, Qualcomm confirmed yesterday that it would only be the series' majority chipset supplier, full details of which we have covered separately.
According to @UniverseIce, Samsung is working towards delivering the Galaxy S24 series in black, blue, grey, green, orange, violet and yellow. In other words, it appears that the leaker is only affirming Young's earlier assertion rather than adding anything new. With that said, @UniverseIce adds that there will also be a 'golden version' of the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a colour-matching mid-frame. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether this will be freely available or one that is more limited in nature, like the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition.
Incidentally, @UniverseIce also reports that the Galaxy S24 Ultra looks better than they expected, having allegedly seen the 'real mobile phone'. Writing on Twitter, the leaker states that Samsung has made the black bezel surrounding the Galaxy S24 Ultra's display symmetrical, a feat that escapes its predecessor. Moreover, the leaker states that the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a repositioned front-facing camera, seemingly to improve aesthetics. Reportedly, Samsung has moved the punch hole slightly down this year, as well as reducing its diameter. Currently, the Galaxy S24 series is expected to debut in January 2024 alongside fourth-generation Galaxy Book laptops.
