Xiaomi has already kicked off the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, which it presented last week. By contrast, Samsung is expected to wait another three months before unveiling its competitors, although these may well arrive before the global releases of the Xiaomi 14 or Xiaomi 14 Pro. Currently, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to serve as Samsung's premier handset, as has been the case this year with the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
In the meantime, Ice Universe has shared case designs of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which we embedded below. Shared on Weibo instead of Twitter, the images reveal a design that matches earlier CAD models, including those leaked by @OnLeaks. As such, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a familiar camera layout, with three prominent apertures positioned next to another three smaller apertures.
Presumably, the latter three will house the device's 3x telephoto camera, as well as a laser autofocus and an LED flash array. Based on a recent official promotional video, the Galaxy S24 Ultra could showcase Samsung's first ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace camera too, a 200 MP sensor aided by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Additionally, it appears that the Galaxy S24 Ultra features some subtle design tweaks like a squarer-looking frame. However, it may be difficult to tell the Galaxy S24 Ultra apart from its predecessor when it arrives in a few months, though.
