Nova 11 SE: Huawei presents new mid-range smartphone with minimal hardware upgrades
Huawei has now announced the successor to the Nova 10 SE, slightly after the device's first anniversary. As an extensive leak already demonstrated, the Nova 11 SE has a more modern design than its predecessor. However, Huawei has maintained the Snapdragon 680 across generations, a 6 nm and 4G chipset is nearly three years old.
Additionally, the Nova 11 SE has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 1080p and 90 Hz. In other words, it appears that Huawei has also brought across the Nova 10 SE's display, albeit with a narrow bottom bezel. The same is true when it comes to battery capacity, which remains unchanged at 4,500 mAh. Likewise, the Nova 11 SE has 108 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP macro rear-facing cameras.
Conversely, Huawei has included a 32 MP front-facing camera this time around rather than the 16 MP equivalent in the Nova 10 SE. The Nova 11 SE starts at CNY 1,999 (~US$273) in China with 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, the device is available with 512 GB of storage for CNY 2,199 (~US$300), both with 8 GB of RAM. Huawei has not commented on availability outside China yet, though.
