Samsung has released a new video demonstrating its new 200 MP 'Zoom Anyplace' camera sensor, which it will showcase alongside a new ISP. The same video hints at the Galaxy S24 series featuring Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in some degree, too.

Samsung has shared new details about 'ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace', a 200 MP sensor it announced at the start of October. For now, the company is keeping technical details under wraps. However, it is already promising various innovations, an overview of which can be found in the video below.

Currently, Samsung is promoting its new sensor on its ability to track a subject automatically. Achieved in conjunction with AI, ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace pans a digitally zoomed section, maintains focus and stabilises the image all at once. Additionally, it should be possible to save the zoomed shot and the entire scene simultaneously for improved flexibility.

Moreover, ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace can record a zoomed video at up to 4x while maintaining a full 4K capture. Samsung adds that its new sensor can also pan in any direction, again to a peak of 4x magnification. Surprisingly, Samsung implies that ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace will work in tandem with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset. Currently, Samsung is expected to introduce ISOCELL Zoom Anyplace with the Galaxy S24 series, likely just the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
