Oppo is still a few days away from launching the Pad Air 2, stylised as the Pad Air2. Previously, the company teased the upcoming tablet on Chinese social media, covered separately. Now, it has listed the Pad Air 2 on the Oppo Shop, with a few additional specifications confirmed in the process.
As expected, Oppo's next tablet shares its overall design with the OnePlus Pad Go. Additionally, Oppo will offer the Pad Air 2 with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB and 256 GB of storage. For reference, Oppo has created three memory configurations; 128 GB of storage will be available with a choice of 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.
Moreover, the tablet will house an 11.3-inch display that outputs at 2.4K and 90 Hz. Furthermore, Oppo plans to sell the Pad Air2 in Space Grey and Streamer Silver finishes. According to Gizmochina, a China Telecom listing reports that the tablet also has a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and an 8,000 mAh battery, both of which it shares with the OnePlus Pad Go. Reportedly, the Pad Air 2 will start at CNY 1,299 (~US$183) and will rise to CNY 1,699 (~US$239) for its top configuration when it debuts on November 23.
