Various sources have discovered new listings for 'TM2211', an unreleased Xiaomi laptop equipped with a choice of Core i5-14500HX and Core i9-14900HX processors. For reference, both are high-end parts that manufacturers are expected to use in upcoming gaming laptops. Thus, it would seem that 'TM2211' relates to a Redmi G refresh rather than one of Xiaomi's other laptop brands.
While Xiaomi has not officially commented on TM2211 yet, Geekbench provides insights into the laptop's performance characteristics. For example, the unreleased machine trails the Acer Predator PH16-782 that also recently appeared on Geekbench with a Core i9-14900HX. Surprisingly, the Xiaomi TM2211's single-core and multi-core scores of 2,701 points and 15,586 points, respectively, put it lower than many Core i9-13900HX-powered alternatives.
With that being said, the model benchmarked could be a pre-released unit. In other words, we would not recommend reaching any judgements about the Xiaomi TM2211 just yet. Still, it trails the Predator PH16-782 by a few percent in both benchmarks, which achieved 2,998 single-core and 17,937 multi-core scores. Incidentally, Geekbench awarded the Xiaomi TM2211's Core i5-14500HX variant 2,207 points in Geekbench's single-core benchmark and 8,708 in its multi-core component. Unfortunately, there are no indications when Xiaomi will release any new gaming laptops yet.
