Samsung has released its Android 14 update to more devices. Starting in the US, One UI 6 should now be available to additional flagships, plus the first of Samsung's mid-range product stack.

Samsung has quietly started rolling out its highly-anticipated OS update to more handsets. Previously exclusive to the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 series, One UI 6 has now been extended to the Galaxy A54, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Z Fold5 (curr. US$1,299 on Amazon). Incidentally, the new rollouts are in line with expectations set by an official release schedule that Samsung subsequently pulled.

For reference, One UI 6 brings Android 14 to Samsung's mobile portfolio following an extensive public beta program. In short, One UI 6 contains various user experience optimisations from One UI 5, such as a reworked quick panel and refined multitasking. Please see Samsung's 'what's new in One UI 6' website for more details and changes from One UI 5.

As of now, Samsung has limited the distribution of One UI 6 to these new devices. Specifically, the OS update is only available for devices sold in the US, with networked locked models seemingly receiving updates first. While the updates have not reached other markets yet, Samsung tends to take a few weeks before it distributes major updates globally.
