Samsung Galaxy Book4: Official photos of Galaxy Book4 Ultra and other models leak before rumoured January release
Windows Report has now published initial photos of the Galaxy Book4 series, a week after detailing numerous specifications for Samsung's next high-end laptops. For reference, there has been evidence that the company is preparing to deliver five laptops soon, possibly in early January, alongside the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Currently, the Galaxy Book4 series is thought to consist of the following models:
- Galaxy Book4
- Galaxy Book4 360
- Galaxy Book4 Pro
- Galaxy Book4 Pro 360
- Galaxy Book4 Ultra
As the images below show, Windows Report has shared shots of several Galaxy Book4 models. However, it is unclear which models have been pictured, other than the obvious differences between convertible and non-convertible editions. Seemingly, the image above is of the Galaxy Book4 Ultra on account of its apparent 16:10 aspect ratio. By contrast, the Galaxy Book4 is expected to retain a 16:9 panel, while the Galaxy Book4 Pro will be the only SKU without a numeric keypad and a 14-inch display.
Ultimately, the Galaxy Book4 series looks visually unchanged from last year's models. Thus, full-sized HDMI ports return, as do USB Type-A and USB Type-C connections. Samsung will also equip the Galaxy Book4 series with 3.5 mm jacks and MicroSD card readers, with all but the Galaxy Book4 offering Thunderbolt 4 connectivity instead of a standard USB Type-C port, too. Please see our previous Galaxy Book4, Galaxy Book4 360, Galaxy Book4 Pro, Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book4 Ultra articles for full details about the five laptops' rumoured specifications.
