Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro turns up in pre-release leak
China Telecom has shared numerous details for the Redmi Note 13R Pro, as well as what appear to be official product images. In short, it appears that the Redmi Note 13R Pro could be a re-branded Redmi Note 13, which Xiaomi began selling in China at the end of September. While that has not been confirmed yet, the Redmi Note 13R Pro and Redmi Note 13 share all key characteristics.
According to China Telecom, the former measures 161.11 x 74.95 x 7.73 mm and weighs 174 g, putting in within a margin of error of the Redmi Note 13's official footprint. Likewise, Xiaomi has installed a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 1080p resolution, another trait shared with the Redmi Note 13. Moreover, the Redmi Note 13R Pro utilises a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33 W wired charging, a common combination for Xiaomi's lower-order Redmi handsets.
Furthermore, the Redmi Note 13R Pro relies upon the same chipset as the Redmi Note 13, MediaTek's Dimensity 6080. Reportedly, the handset will launch in China on November 20 with at least 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, along with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. China Telecom has listed the Redmi Note 13R Pro for CNY 1,999 (~US$275), although it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will launch the handset in other markets.
