Samsung has offered up another limited edition smartphone, shortly before it launches the Galaxy S24 series. As expected, the company's new limited edition model is the Galaxy Z Flip5 Maison Margiela Edition, which follows in the footsteps of other themed versions like the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro and Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne Edition. Leaked a few weeks ago, the Maison Margiela Edition boasts a streetwear-inspired print across its back panel, unlike the regular Galaxy Z Flip5 (curr. US$799.99 on Amazon).
Seemingly, it appears that this is the only visual change from non-limited edition models. With that being said, Samsung will bundle various exclusive accessories, including the Flap Leather Case, a black leather case resembling a trouser pocket. Additionally, the company has created the Flipsuit, a case that ships with two interchangeable cards that automatically adjust the smartphone's background image via integrated NFC chips.
Moreover, Samsung will ship the Maison Margiela Edition in a fabric sample box complete with branded charging accessories. While the hardware remains unchanged from the standard Galaxy Z Flip5, Samsung has given One UI a subtle makeover with exclusive app icons and background images. Samsung is keeping pricing under wraps until the device's release on November 30 too, although you can sign up for more details on its website.
