Early signs of Xiaomi preparing the POCO F6 have surfaced online months before the device's anticipated launch. Seemingly, Xiaomi is basing the POCO F6 around a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and will give the device a release outside China.

Twitter account @i_hsay believes to have discovered references to an unreleased high-end POCO smartphone. For context, the new appearance has emerged a few months after a database sighting, in which 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C and 23113RKC6C were identified. Supposedly, these model numbers relate to the Redmi K70E, Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro, respectively.

As the embedded image below shows, Xiaomi has now certified '2311DRK48I' with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the Indian equivalent of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Additionally, the listing confirms that Xiaomi is preparing an Indian release for 2311DRK48, denoted by its 'I' suffix. Moreover, the four digits at the start of each model name indicate that they could arrive as soon as later this month, albeit only likely their Chinese representatives.

Currently, the Redmi K70 is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Qualcomm's last-generation flagship chipset. Based on previous releases, the POCO F6 will serve as the Redmi K70's global and Indian representative, possibly with a 5,500 mAh battery and 90 W wired charging. While the Redmi K70 may debut in China before the end of the year, the POCO F6 is not anticipated to launch until spring 2024.
