Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro leaks with lower than expected launch pricing
Leaker @passionategeekz has discovered Amazon listings for the Redmi Note 13 Pro ahead of its global release. While the leaker elected against providing any sources, we have tracked down a dozen examples under the Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (ASIN) B0CP8B1D6J, B0CQ32CLZQ, and B0CP88F5G4. Like the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, it appears that the Redmi Note 13 Pro could retail for less than expected in the Eurozone.
Previously, Appuals claimed that Xiaomi intended to launch the Redmi Note 13 Pro for €449 with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. In other words, the Redmi Note 13 Pro was rumoured to cost €50 more than the cheapest Redmi Note 12 Pro SKU (curr. $249.50 on Amazon). However, evidence from Amazon suggests that will not be the case. Instead, the Redmi Note 13 Pro costs as little as €349, with most prices set €399 across the Eurozone.
Although this is cheaper than Appuals suggested, these prices are for 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage SKUs, the handset's second cheapest SKU in China. Based on Amazon's descriptions, the Redmi Note 13 Pro will remain unchanged in other areas, much like the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Thus, the global model will ship with a 120 Hz AMOLED display, as well as a 200 MP primary camera set-up and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset; please see our launch article for more details. Incidentally, Amazon implies that Xiaomi will reveal the Redmi Note 13 Pro in Europe within the next few days. Xiaomi appears to be set on bringing the Redmi Note 13 series to India first, though, which it will do on January 4.
