MagyarFuell Folld-1 folding fat-tire e-bike with 750W motor now available
The Fuell Folld-1 e-bike is now available to order in the US and the EU. The new model is the first folding electric bicycle from the brand, which launched the Flluid-2 and Flluid-3 bikes last Spring. Fuell has designed the Folld for rides in the city and off-road, with 20 x 4-inch fat tires to ensure it can easily handle various terrains.
The Folld-1 is powered by a 750W 85Nm Bafang motor with a top speed of 20 mph (~32 kph) in the US and 25 kph (~16 mph) in the EU. You can choose between five assistance levels, and the US version comes with a thumb throttle. A removable 720Wh battery allows you to ride with assistance for up to 70 miles (~113 km) on a single charge; you can charge the power pack to 80% in four hours, while a full recharge takes six hours. The e-bike has a full suspension system to help smooth your ride with a Mozo Fatman hydraulic suspension fork with 80mm travel and a Fastace ZXC01 at the rear with 125mm travel. Other features of the 8-speed bike include a Shimano ALTUS rear derailleur, Tektro HD-E 350 brakes and a color display.
The e-bike has a unibody magnesium alloy frame, which can fold to make it easier to transport or store. Including the battery, the model weighs 82.5 lbs (~37.4 kg), making it relatively heavy for a folding eMTB. You can now buy the Fuell Folld-1 e-bike in the US and the EU for the discounted price of $1,995/€1,995; the model will retail for $2,495/€2,495 in the future. It is worth noting that, according to the brand’s US website, only seven units are currently available in this region.
