Schindelhauer has unveiled two new e-bikes named Heinrich and Hannah. The models feature a mid-mounted motor from Bosch, offering varying levels of assistance, with a 500Wh battery and Enviolo TR stepless shifting. Other tools include a Bosch Kiox display with smartphone connectivity and GPS tracking.

Schindelhauer is expanding its range of e-bikes in the EU with the Heinrich and Hannah Enviolo models. While Heinrich has a step-over frame, Hannah features a step-through frame; aside from this, and different saddle shapes, the models are identical. The company suggests the new electric bicycles are two of its most powerful, with a mid-mounted 85Nm Bosch Performance CX motor.

Powered by a Bosch PowerTube 500Wh battery, the motor can assist you at speeds of up to 25 kph (~16 mph), with controls offered via a handlebar remote. You can also adjust the bike’s settings and view journey information in the eBike Flow app, with some statistics displayed on the Bosch KIOX display between the handlebars. Other features include an Enviolo TR stepless shifter gear hub, Shimamo brakes and a Connect module that allows you to track your bike’s location via GPS, which could be helpful in case of theft.

The models, both winners at the 2023 Red Dot Design Awards, also have lights, mudguards, a luggage rack, leather saddle and handlebars. With the aluminum frame in a size M, Hannah weighs 24.7 kg (~54.5 lbs) and Heinrich 24.9 kg (~54.9 lbs), and both can support loads up to 155 kg (~342 lbs). You can now buy the Schindelhauer Heinrich and Hannah e-bikes in the EU for €6,195.
