AOKZOE has finally confirmed launch pricing for the A2, a gaming handheld that it revealed over eight months ago. The company has also detailed when the A2 will actually be orderable, having left the device's Indiegogo campaign in preview mode since mid-June. Recently, AOKZOE shared full device specifications, or at least we thought it had.
To recap, AOKZOE stated that the A2 would be available with the Ryzen 7 7840U, a Zen 4 and RDNA 3-based APU that has become the go-to option for modern gaming handhelds. Also available as the Ryzen Z1 Extreme in the ASUS ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go, the Ryzen 7 7840U is orderable in 'PRO' form through the Terrans Force Handle 5, too.
However, AOKZOE has now confirmed that the A2's cheapest SKU contains the Ryzen 7 6800U and not its Ryzen 7040U-based successor. As a result, the AOKZOE A2 actually costs a minimum of $699 with a Ryzen 7 7840U. It is also worth stressing that this price will only be guaranteed for the first 96 hours of AOKZOE's Indiegogo campaign, which starts at 16:00 UTC on December 22. Full 'Early Bird' AOKZOE A2 pricing is as follows:
- AMD Ryzen 7 6800U/32 GB RAM/512 GB SSD - $599
- AMD Ryzen 7 7840U/32 GB RAM/512 GB SSD - $699
