Philips has presented the 27M1N5500P in China, a new 27-inch gaming monitor that will sit within its Evnia brand. Seemingly, the Evnia 27M1N5500P is similar to the Momentum 5000 27M1F5500P, which Philips unveiled in May 2022. As such, the Evnia 27M1N5500P relies upon IPS technology with W-LED backlights, unlike the Evnia 32M2C5500W that debuted last month.
According to Philips' product page, the Evnia 27M1N5500P outputs at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with a peak 240 Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, the company's decision to include HDMI 2.0 ports restricts the monitor to 144 Hz visuals when connected to a device via HDMI. As such, the Evnia 27M1N5500P can only game at 1440p and 240 Hz using its sole DisplayPort 1.4 connection.
Additionally, the monitor offers 1 ms GtG response times, 450 nits peak brightness and a 1,200:1 contrast ratio. Moreover, the Evnia 27M1N5500P is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and provides 90% Adobe RGB colour space coverage. For reference, the Evnia 27M1N5500P retails for CNY 1,999 (~$282) in China. However, Philips has also published an English-language product overview, implying that the company is close to releasing the Evnia 27M1N5500P globally.
