Samsung has expanded its ViewFinity series with the S65TC, a 34-inch and 1000R curved monitor that combines a 1440p resolution with a 100 Hz refresh rate. The ViewFinity S6 S65TC also has a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports, among other features.

Samsung has launched another ViewFinity series monitor in South Korea. While not necessarily as high-end as the ViewFinity S9 S95UC that it presented in its home market earlier this week, the ViewFinity S6 S65TC (S34C650T) still packs plenty of worthwhile features. For example, Samsung has designed the ViewFinity S6 S65TC around a VA panel that outputs at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and measures 24-inches across.

According to the company's technical specifications, the 21:9 panel also has a 1000R curvature and delivers a 100 Hz refresh rate, 20 Hz shy of the ViewFinity S9 S95UC. Response times of 5 ms (GtG) prevent the ViewFinity S6 S65TC from being considered a true gaming monitor, though. Nonetheless, the ViewFinity S6 S65TC offers AMD FreeSync support too for mitigating image tearing.

Moreover, the VA panel provides a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 350 nits peak brightness, 115% sRGB colour space coverage and HDR10 support. However, the utility of the latter is somewhat limited by the monitor's mediocre peak brightness. As one image below shows, Samsung has included various ports as well, including Thunderbolt 4 upstream and downstream connections. Currently, the ViewFinity S6 S65TC is only available in Samsung's home market, where it sells for KRW 900,000 (~$693). Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when the monitor will be available globally.
