Dangbei Mars Pro 2, X5 Ultra and PadGO previewed ahead of CES 2024 debut
Dangbei has teased its CES 2024 showcase by announcing that its latest Mars-series projector is going to make it there. The "2,450 lumen" 2 Pro is the brand's first 4K home cinema device to come augmented with HDR10+, and will rock dual 12W "super powerful" DTS:X-enhanced speakers on top of that.
Should that somehow not be enough, the Mars Pro 2 will be joined by the Dangbei X5 Ultra on the show floor. This high-end projector is technically already available in China (which explains why it is also currently on Amazon), although it is officially coming to the international market in 2024.
It will debut as Dangbei's first 4K projector with "full-color LED hybrid light sources" to go with its "triple-color laser" system. The X5 Ultra is also rated to cover 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut and to achieve "enhanced brightness" (2,500 CVIA lumens, according to Amazon) with ALPD 5.0 technology.
For those who find themselves at the Dangbei booth with no interest in projectors, the PadGO will also be unveiled there. Its 27-inch 4K panel is found on a "rollable" 'stalk-like stand very like that of the LG StanbyME and, going by the brand's definition of it as a "tablet", also works as a touchscreen.
The potentially compelling new home entertainment devices will be on display alongside the new ultra-portable Atom projector at Dangbei's CES 2024 exhibition, to be found at Booth #50965 in Halls A to D of the Venetian Convention Center in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12, 2024.
