Dangbei D5X lightweight projector with 1,100 ANSI lumens brightness revealed

Dangbei has launched the D5X projector for pre-order in China. The lighter gadget weighs 1.08 kg (~38.1 oz) and is 47.5 mm (~1.9-in) thick, making it easy to transport. The device has a maximum recommended projection size of 120-in (~305 cm) and can produce up to 1,100 ANSI lumens brightness.
Smart Home Gadget

The Dangbei D5X projector is now available to pre-order in China. The gadget has a 1080p native resolution with 4K decoding and covers 120% of the Rec.709 color gamut. The projector's light source is expected to last for 30,000 hours and produce a peak brightness of 1,100 ANSI lumens. The recommended projector size is 80 to 120-in (~203 to 305 cm), and the device supports HDR10+. The gadget features MEMC motion smoothing technology and a gaming mode with a 22 ms lag time. 

Thanks to an AI algorithm and dToF LiDAR technology, you can quickly perfect the image with autofocus, keystone correction and auto obstacle avoidance tools. A pair of built-in 5 W speakers provide a stereo sound experience, compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. Plus, the gadget can run quietly, producing as little as 24 dB of running noise. The D5X supports 5G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and you can physically connect to the device via HDMI 2.1 eARC and USB 2.0 ports.

The Android projector uses an MT9669 chip with 3 GB memory and the Dangbei OS. The gadget is lightweight, weighing 1.08 kg (~38.1 oz), and highly portable, measuring 195 x 195 x 47.5 mm (~7.7 x 7.7 x 1.9-in). You can currently pre-order the Dangbei D5X projector in China for the discounted price of 2,999 yuan (~US$434); the gadget is expected to retail for 3,099 yuan (~US$449) in the future.
