IKEA SYMFONISK sound remote, gen 2 arrives with Sonos Home Sound System compatibility
The IKEA SYMFONISK sound remote, gen 2 is now available in countries including the UK, the Netherlands and France. The accessory can control SYMFONISK smart speakers, a collaborative range designed by IKEA and Sonos. The controller has five buttons to play or pause, skip forward or backwards and adjust the volume. A further two buttons are customizable and can be used to play a chosen personal playlist.
You can use the SYMFONISK sound remote to control one or multiple smart speakers around your home, and the gadget is compatible with the Sonos Home Sound System. The device comes with a magnetic mount which can be attached to your wall. The remote has a white plastic casing measuring 73 x 73 x 20 mm (~2.87 x 2.87 x 0.79-in). It is worth noting that you also need the IKEA DIRIGERA hub to use the SYMFONISK sound remote.
IKEA recently added several new products to its SYMFONISK range, like the floor lamp with Wi-Fi speaker. Another recent addition was the SYMFONISK / FREKVENS smart speaker and light combos, which can match a lighting sequence to your music.
