BenQ has announced the HT4550i and HT2060 projectors at CES 2023. The gadgets are billed as suitable for both gaming and watching movies. The HT4550i is a 4K UHD projector with HDR color accuracy, dynamically adapting to suit brighter and darker content and supporting HDR10 and HLG.
The device has up to 3,200 lumens brightness and covers 100% of DCI-P3. With built-in Android TV, you can stream content from various popular platforms. Plus, you can adjust the vertical and horizontal lens shifts to perfect the image for your set-up. The slimmer gadget comes in black, with HDMI, Ethernet and USB ports.
The HT2060 is a 1080p projector with a 4LED light source, covering 98% of the Rec. 709 CinematicColor gamut. You can use the gadget to project images up to 100-in (~254 cm) wide when the device is 8.2 ft (~2.5 m) away from the wall. This projector also has a vertical lens shift and up to 1.3X zoom. At 1080p @ 60 Hz, the gadget has a 16 ms input lag.
You can control the projector via a set of integrated buttons or, presumably, via a remote. Ports on the white-colored device include HDMI, USB-A and SPDIF. These two products' prices and launch dates are yet to be announced. At the same event, BenQ also revealed the GP500 projector.
