CES 2023 | BenQ HT4550i and HT2060 projectors announced with up to 3,200 lumens brightness
BenQ has announced the HT4550i and HT2060 projectors at CES 2023. The gadgets are billed as suitable for both gaming and watching movies. The HT4550i is a 4K UHD projector with HDR color accuracy, dynamically adapting to suit brighter and darker content and supporting HDR10 and HLG.
The device has up to 3,200 lumens brightness and covers 100% of DCI-P3. With built-in Android TV, you can stream content from various popular platforms. Plus, you can adjust the vertical and horizontal lens shifts to perfect the image for your set-up. The slimmer gadget comes in black, with HDMI, Ethernet and USB ports.
The HT2060 is a 1080p projector with a 4LED light source, covering 98% of the Rec. 709 CinematicColor gamut. You can use the gadget to project images up to 100-in (~254 cm) wide when the device is 8.2 ft (~2.5 m) away from the wall. This projector also has a vertical lens shift and up to 1.3X zoom. At 1080p @ 60 Hz, the gadget has a 16 ms input lag.
You can control the projector via a set of integrated buttons or, presumably, via a remote. Ports on the white-colored device include HDMI, USB-A and SPDIF. These two products' prices and launch dates are yet to be announced. At the same event, BenQ also revealed the GP500 projector.
