Dangbei has just announced a launch date for the Mars Pro 2 laser projector, which was on display at CES 2024 alongside the X5 Ultra projector and the PadGo 27-inch 4K tablet for home entertainment. Now, its launch price has been confirmed to be $1,899, but there is a solid special discount of $400. US customers who subscribe to the newsletter before the launch date of May 28th can get a freebie valued at $139 (a quite useful gimbal stand).
Marketed as the world's first Google TV 4K laser projector with a pre-installed, licensed Netflix application, the Mars Pro 2 can also be used to stream YouTube, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+ content, and more. Alongside the 4K UHD visual experience with HDR10+ support, this projector sports dual 12W speakers with both Dolby Audio and DTS:X support. The list of specs and features also includes HDMI 2.1 and WiFi 6 connectivity, as well as InstanPro AI Image Setup with dToF, CMOS, and AI algorithms to provide improved autofocus, screen fitting, obstacle avoidance, eye protection, and more.
The Dangbei Mars Pro 2 will be available via Amazon and the brand's own website. However, those in a hurry can grab the 1080p Mars for $999.99. Last but not least, UK customers who will acquire the Mars Pro 2 can use the MARSPRO2 promo code for an additional £50 discount.
