TCL has launched two Q6 4K TVs in its 2024 range for the US: the Q651G (Q65) and the Q681G (Q68). The Q65 is offered in six sizes, from 43-inch to 98-inch, and the upgraded Q68 is available in four sizes from 55-inch to 85-inch.
While both the Q65 and the Q68 are QLED TVs, the latter offers QLED Pro technology with full array local dimming. This more expensive model has up to 150 local dimming zones and a peak brightness level of 600 nits. The smaller-sized displays have a 60Hz refresh rate, while the 85-inch and 98-inch devices offer 120Hz, all supporting HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Google TV allows you to stream content from various apps, and you can use tools like Apple AirPlay 2 to wirelessly screencast from your phone or tablet. Other features include Game Accelerator 120/240 with VRR, Dolby Atmos audio, voice commands and a bezel-less design.
You can now buy the TCL Q65 and Q68 TVs starting from $349.99 and $499.99, respectively. At the other end of the scale is the 98-inch Q65 with an RRP of $2,999.99; a full breakdown of the prices for each model and size can be found below. At the time of writing, TCL has not indicated any plans to bring these TVs to other markets like Europe.
