GigaBlue is set to launch the Home Cinema 3 UHD Triple Laser TV on May 17th. The new 4K model is said to have a native 3,840 x 2,160 px resolution with an ultra-short throw ratio of 0.21:1 and can be used to project images from 80 to 150 inches (~200 to 380 cm) wide. While the product listing suggests it has a 120Hz refresh rate, it is only 60Hz natively.
The Home Cinema 3’s triple laser light source is listed as producing up to 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness and is expected to last for up to 30,000 hours. Other features of the DMD model include 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and support for HDR10+. The model uses Android TV 12, allowing you to stream content from popular apps and wirelessly screenshare using Chromecast. Also included is ALLM for gaming, two built-in 10W speakers, compatible with Dolby Atmos, and ports like HDMI eARC.
The GigaBlue Home Cinema 3 UHD Triple Laser TV will launch on May 17th in Germany with a retail price of €2,399 (~$2,600). This makes it relatively cheap compared to models like the Samsung The Premiere, a UST 4K projector with 2,800 ANSI lumens brightness, which costs around €3,869. GigaBlue is shipping its new product to countries worldwide, with prices varying by region.
