MagyarDragon Age: Dreadwolf may be released this financial year
Since the release of Dragon Age Inquisition in 2014, Dragon Age fans have been left high and dry. In 2018, the development team at BioWare, which is also known for games such as Baldur's Gate and Mass Effect, finally announced the sequel - at the time still under the working title Dragon Age 4. We have only known that the latest offshoot of the series will be called Dreadwolf since a X-Post from June 2022.
So far, BioWare has revealed very little information about the plot of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. However, the title already suggests that the powerful elven mage Solas will play a central role in the fourth installment of the series - and this was confirmed in the first trailer. Solas plans to destroy the veil that connects the physical world of Thades with the spirit world. As the player, you are the only one who can stop Solas.
Unveiling in summer 2024
Not much more is known about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf so far. However, in the second trailer, which was released in December 2023, BioWare announced that Dreadwolf would be unveiled in summer 2024. Fans can therefore expect more information about the game and an exact release date soon.
EA financial report points to release within this financial year
According to renowned gaming insider Jeff Grubb, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could be released before the end of this financial year. Grubb posted about this on May 7, on X (formerly Twitter), referring to the EA financial report. In addition to other games, a "partner title" is also mentioned there for the fourth quarter of the financial year. According to Jeff Grubb, this is Dreadwolf. This means that the fourth part of the Dragon Age series should be released by March 31, 2025.
