BlitzWolf offers various electronic products and projectors under its brand. The new BW-V8 can be classified as a compact projector. Specifically, it measures 215 x 170 x 86 millimeters and is also quite light at 1.24 kilograms. BlitzWolf puts the maximum brightness at 9,800 lumens - but then also specifies the ANSI brightness. Specifically, the projector is said to offer 480 ANSI lumens, which would be quite a decent value for a small and affordable LED projector. The resolution uniformity is stated at over 70%.
The projection ratio is put at 1.2:1, with a projection distance of between 1.5 and 5 meters, an image of between 30 and 150 inches can be projected. The focus must be set manually, and keystone correction cannot be done automatically either. Adjustment is possible at up to 15° in each case.
The resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and thus corresponds to the Full HD standard, which at least should bring decent sharpness. BlitzWolf states the contrast ratio at 2,000:1. There is a single speaker with an output power of 5 watts.
The maximum power consumption is specified at 70 watts, and the model can't be powered through the USB Type-C. HDMI 1.4 and a classic VGA port are available, and playback of media content stored on USB is supported. There is also a memory card slot. It is a smart projector with Android 11, which means you can watch content from streaming service providers directly.
The projector is currently being offered for direct import at a price of around 105 euros (including import duties). Delivery should be possible in around a month at the latest.
