HU710PB: New compact projector
The LG CineBeam Q HU710PB is a new and compact projector that will soon be on sale. The model supports 4K resolution and is already listed at several retailers.

LG has already presented the HU710PB but now there is also more detailed information on the price, availability, and exact technical specifications. Interested parties can register directly with LG for a newsletter - subscribers who register before March 17 will receive a 200 euro voucher for the new projector. Heimkino.de already lists the projector for 1,299 euros, which is in line with other stores. According to current information, the projector will be available from April 5th.

It is a relatively compact and visually appealing projector. According to the listing, it measures 80 x 135 x 135 millimeters and weighs just 1.49 kilograms. A 4K resolution is advertised - the native resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, and pixel shift then increases this. The extent to which pixel shift hurts image quality depends not least on the content to be displayed.

The maximum brightness of the projector is said to be only 500 ANSI lumens, which is not an unusual value for an LED or laser projector. Three lasers are used, which should result in extremely strong color reproduction. The DCI-P3 color space should be able to be reproduced to 154.2 percent and the Rec. 709 color space to 194.3 percent.

There is an integrated loudspeaker and, in addition to HDMI, a wireless network connection is also available. In Eco mode, the projector is said to emit only 25 dB of noise.
