Optoma launches new WUXGA projectors including short throw model
Optoma has revealed three new WUXGA projectors: the ZU607TST, the ZU607T, and the ZU707T. The latest models are designed for business use, such as conference rooms, lecture halls, and event spaces. The projectors each use a laser light source with DuraCore technology, with an IP6X-certified optical engine and a 30,000-hour life expectancy in Eco mode.
The peak brightness differs by model, with the ZU607TST having up to 6,000 lumens, the ZU607T 6,500 lumens, and the ZU707T brightest with up to 7,000 lumens (5,900 ANSI lumens). The ST in the ZU607TST’s name refers to its short throw ratio of 0.58, and the model has a maximum recommended image size of 300 inches. Meanwhile the other two projectors have a throw ratio between 1.2 and 1.92. All of the projectors have a 300,000:1 contrast ratio, a 1,920 x 1,200 px resolution, and are compatible with 4K and HDR. Other features include support for 3D experiences and two built-in 15W speakers.
The new Optoma models have image-perfecting tools like vertical auto keystone, 1.6x manual zoom, manual lens shift and four-corner correction. Plus, ports on the device include HDMI 2.0, USB-A, LAN, HDBaseT 3.0 4K and Audio 3.5mm in/out. You can now buy the Optoma ZU607TST, ZU607T, and ZU707T projectors for $4,199/€4,759/£3,333, $3,499/€3,479/£2,500, and $3,999/€3,949/£2,900, respectively.
