BenQ X300G new 4K short throw gaming projector rolls out to more countries
The BenQ X300G 4K HDR Short Throw Gaming Projector is now available in Europe and Australia. The model was announced last year and went on sale in the US in January. In EU countries like the Netherlands, France and Germany, you can buy the new projector for €1799. Plus, customers in the UK and Australia can purchase the model for £1,599 and AU$2,299, respectively.
The X300G has an LED light source, delivering up to 2,000 ANSI lumens brightness. The projector can cast images up to 120-in (~305 cm) wide with a 0.69-0.83 throw ratio, covering 84% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with CinematicColor technology and HDR-PRO. You can optimize the image with automatic 3D keystone correction and motorized optical zoom. Other features include two built-in 8W speakers, various gaming modes and ports, including HDMI (2.0b/HDCP2.2/eARC), USB-A 2.0, and USB-C DP. Plus, the input lag is 4.2 ms with a 1080p@240Hz input or 16.7 ms with the higher 4K@60Hz resolution.
The BenQ X300G retails in the US for $1,799, and customers are still offered a free video game with their purchase directly from the company; titles include Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Nintendo Switch Exclusive - Release 2/16/24), Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (PlayStation Exclusive - Release 2/29/24) and Resident Evil 4 across various platforms. When the model will arrive in Canada remains to be seen.
