The BenQ X300G portable gaming projector is now available in the US. The product was announced last year as a 4K HDR short throw model. Customers in the US can buy the device for $1,799, with the offer of a free game with purchases made before January 31st. You can choose between physical or digital copies of the following titles for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch:

  • Alan Wake 2
  • Baldur's Gate 3
  • Resident Evil 4
  • Spider-Man 2 (Playstation Exclusive)

The X300G has an LED light source, generating up to 2,000 ANSI lumens brightness. Plus, the projector covers 84% of the DCI-P3 color space and 95% of the Rec. 709 color space with support for HDR-PRO. A 0.69-0.83 throw ratio allows you to project a 120-in (~305 cm) image from 1.5 to 1.8 m (~5.0 to 6.0 ft). For gaming, you can choose from three modes: FPS, RPG or SPG. The input lag is 4.2ms with a 1080p@240Hz input or 16.7ms at a 4K@60Hz resolution, and you can connect gadgets via ports including HDMI (2.0b/HDCP2.2/eARC), USB-A 2.0 and USB-C DP.
