Xgimi RS 10 Ultra: New projector with strong color reproduction is IMAX-certified

Xgimi has introduced another new projector. Compared to the Xgimi RS 10 Mini, the Xgimi RS 10 Ultra is unsurprisingly a significantly larger but also more powerful model. Specifically, the brightness is stated as 3,200 CVIA and 3,000 ISO lumens, which is a good value for a rather compact model without a classic light source.

Speaking of the light source: three lasers are used, which should also result in a particularly strong display of color content. Specifically, 110% of the BT 2020 color space should be covered. The color accuracy is specified as Delta E less than 1 - monitors with such color accuracy can also be used for productive image editing without any problems. The contrast ratio is specified as 2,000:1. The Xgimi RS 10 Ultra should be able to handle HDR10 content. IMAX Enhanced certification is available, and an image ratio of 1.9:1 is supported.

The projector comes with a stand that allows the projector to be fully rotated and tilted up and down within a range of 135°. This means that the model can also project onto the ceiling. It is a smart projector with an MT 9669 SoC and WiFi 6, which means that an external player is not necessarily required for use. HDMI 2.1 and two USB 2.0 ports are available.

In its home market of China, the projector is available immediately at a price of around EUR 1,292, although information on other markets is not yet available. Xgimi also offers a powerful projector in this country with the Horizon Ultra 4K, so the global release of the Xgimi RS 10 Ultra is not unlikely.
