Realme is slated to launch new premium mid-range devices soon: the 12 Pro Plus, 12 Pro - and 12 Plus. The latter has no 2023 counterpart, yet is still apparently officially approved to join the rest of the 11-series successors soon as a 5G Android smartphone with the same "Luxury Watch Design" and up-to-date UI as its Pro siblings, although whether it will have the same premium rear cameras remains to be seen.

The Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro Plus are now all but certain to launch soon - then again, their leaks contained no hint of a successor to the vanilla 11 to join them. Now, in an even less predictable twist, evidence of a Plus version of that smartphone has emerged instead.

The 12+ (or 12 Plus) 5G has turned up by name, model number (RMX3867) or both in new NBTC, UL and FCC filings, some of which also confirm that it will support up to 67W wired charging and run Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 out of the box.

Its new leak also includes a schematic pointing to the same basic round camera hump as the 12 Pro series; then again, there is not the slightest hint of a high-end periscope zoom lens among these triple rear shooters. To date, it is not clear whether this new 12+ variant will supplant the base-model 12 or merely accompany it on stage at the end of January 2024.
