Realme has announced that it has successfully shipped at least 200,000,000 smartphones. The brand has only been in this industry since 2018; nevertheless, this is only 1 of many major sales milestones achieved in that relatively short time. It has unveiled this latest news ahead of the launch of its next flagship Android device.

Realme broke records to get to 50 and 100 million smartphone shipments in 2020 and 2021 respectively; now, according to its latest CEO Sky Li, it has achieved the next stage in this trajectory. The BBK Electronics brand once estimated that it might reach 300 million in 2023; however, it has done nearly as well with 200,000,000 units shipped.

Realme celebrated its 5th anniversary in 2023 as a smartphone maker, having branched out into a wealth of tiers and niches ever since. They may be best-known as a reliable source of affordable handsets in regions such as India, yet have also launched some of the fastest-charging devices on the market, as well as those with the most distinctive designs or themes.

The company has also diversified profoundly since its 2018 birth-date, and now also sells electronics in categories ranging from audio and smart TVs to robot vacuums and laptops. Nevertheless, it also seems focused on its ambitions to get back into the top echelon of its original space with the upcoming GT5 Pro.
